Schools ICT is pleased to announce a new three‑year Arbor support and licensing package for schools in Surrey. This offer has been developed to provide schools with a clear long-term pricing framework, high-quality MIS support and a smooth transition to, or continuation with, a modern cloud-based MIS.
As one of only three Arbor Strategic Partners in the country, Schools ICT brings specialist product knowledge, tailored advice and a service model designed for schools.
The offer provides a three‑year support and licensing package for Arbor Perform MIS, designed for both schools already using Arbor and those planning to move from another MIS. It brings together MIS support, specialist consultancy and structured development work with transparent and predictable pricing.
It includes:
- A three‑year support and licensing package for Arbor Perform MIS.Existing Arbor schools can join the offer to benefit from enhanced support, strategic MIS consultancy and access to Arbor Perform licensing (*). Schools migrating from another MIS benefit from a clear, well‑managed transition supported by Schools ICT.
- A free migration period from summer 2026 until 31 March 2027.
During this period, schools moving from another MIS will not pay for their Arbor licence or support while still paying for their current system. This ensures that no school is required to double‑pay for MIS licensing or support during transition. - MIS support delivered directly by Schools ICT.
Our team provides day‑to‑day assistance, issue resolution and expert guidance across all core MIS functions. - Greatly discounted rates for training and consultancy.
This includes access to our highly regarded Arbor Improvement Programme, which helps schools make full and effective use of Arbor. The programme focuses on school improvement, improved efficiency and measurable cost savings. We work with schools to reduce reliance on paid add‑ons by moving functionality into native Arbor wherever possible.

Transparent long-term pricing.
The Year 1 charge is fixed, with any increases in Years 2 and 3 limited to annual CPI and nationally agreed Local Government pay awards. This provides schools with a clear and predictable pricing structure while helping ensure the ongoing sustainability and quality of the service.- LGR‑ready pricing and support.
The structure of this offer is not affected by any future Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) changes in Surrey. Schools joining the package will retain the agreed service and support arrangements throughout the full three-year period. Contract pricing will be applied in accordance with the published contract terms, regardless of organisational changes affecting the wider local authority landscape.
This structure ensures that schools already using Arbor, and those preparing to migrate, can secure long‑term stability, high‑quality support and a clear, cost‑effective path to getting the very best from their Arbor MIS.

Data Migration and Arbor Finance Support Packages (provided by East Sussex Schools Finance)
Managing school’s finances can be challenging and it is so important to have an efficient and effective way to record, manage and report on your school’s financial position in a timely way. System change has the potential to be daunting and disruptive, which is why we are offering a dedicated finance support service for migration and ongoing support with Arbor.
Arbor Migration and Onboarding Support
- Support from dedicated and experienced team of Schools Finance professionals. Experienced in FMS, Arbor Finance and Maintained Schools reporting requirements.
- Liaison between Arbor Finance, school and LA regarding initial system set up and preparation for migration.
- Liaison between school and Arbor Finance to oversee data migration with advice and guidance on initial housekeeping and data checks between systems to ensure a smooth transition and sign off of opening balances.
- Step by step guidance at each part of the process.
- Support with development of processes in line with a new system.
Ongoing User Support
- User support via telephone and e-mail Helpline 8.30 to 4.30 Monday to Friday. For advice, guidance and problem solving. Get practical, plain English help from an experienced finance team when you need it.
- On-line face to face support available via MS Teams.
- Liaison with 2nd and 3rd Line Arbor Finance support teams on behalf of schools.
- Detailed advice, training, guidance and support on performing daily tasks, monthly quarterly and annual routines in keeping with LA and statutory requirements.
- Getting started in Arbor training and advice for new staff.
- Support with system interrogation to resolve reporting or reconciliation queries.
