This accessibility statement applies to www.schoolsict.services

This website is run by East Sussex County Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • Change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • Navigate most of the website using only a keyboard
  • Navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • Listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver).

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible is this website?

Most of our website should be accessible. It should work well when used with access devices such as screen readers as well as smart phones and other devices.

We know some content on this website is not fully accessible. This includes our brochure flip book PDF. However all of the text within the brochure is available on our services pages.

Technical information about this website’s accessibility

Schools ICT is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

Compliance status

This website has been newly created on the 6th April 2023. It is currently in review for its accessible content, this review will be complete by May 31st 2023. We will look to make improvements where possible and list any sections that are not accessible, with plans to address these.

PDFs are not always accessible. We are working to ensure those still in use are available in an accessible format and are moving away from using PDF format for future documents.
